22 ARC AR And lousy AR shooter

Well I drank the Kool Aid and bought an upper from Grendel Hunter in 22 Arc with an 18 inch barrel. I am really not an AR shooter, although I shoot them with my kids for fun on occasions. I have to say I'm pretty pumped about it., went to the range today and with Hornady 88 gr ELDM I was getting 0.75-0.80 groups at 100 yards. It's a nice rifle, hoping to shoot coyotes the off season. Now I need to learn how to shoot it for precision, as it's so different even with a TT trigger on it

It can take awhile to get the rhythm, but once you do you're going to find that it is a great platform. If you want it to be a precision rifle then treat it as such. Use the same technique's you would for a bolt gun. If the rifle doesn't fit, you will find anything and everything available to get it where you want it. Care for it as you would a precision rifle. By that I mean cleaning, lubricating, and understanding the system.
Tuning with adjustable gas blocks, recoil springs, and buffer weights can really bring the package together. These are not expensive, but they do require a bit of research and understanding of what works for you.
