2022 Meat Pole

I only get these and coons until season opens. They come in spurts, starts with 1 nosing around the coop and feed bins and ends up with a bucket full of swine. Last bunch I hauled off was piglets and sows, 2 trips about 12 -15. Mossberg 930 with extended magazine and #4 buck makes quick work on the smaller ones. These, I chose the 6mm ARC.

Was gonna pass but the extra made me do it. 6.5 Grendel/123Black ammo at 152 yards made short work of it.

I don't typically go after bears, but this one so happened to be on of the biggest black bears I have ever came across. Also the biggest one I have ever taken, or even seen taken. He turned out to be 16 years old, 6'8, and his skull measured at 19 1/2in. He was a beautiful old boar.

My first big game animal of the year. VA early rifle bear on opening day last week. Took with Nosler M48 in 280 Ack using 168VLD at 430 yards.

Different kind of meat for the meat pole here. Deer season down south opens next weekend for me so spend my time hunting these. Not a very big one, but in my experience they taste much better in the 6-7' range.

I'm itching to add to this. I got a hell of a November set up. NM mule deer November, November Elk (buddies tag) in Montana and a SD deer tag. Back to back to back. Last hurrah before work pulls me back to the east coast. Soon soon

It's a 2019 seadoo fishpro. Don't use it enough. Only have 10.8 hrs on it and we bought it new in Aug 2019. I was going to sell it earlier this year because my wife never wants to use but I decided to start going without her and it's been a blast.lol. Caught a mess of catfish last weekend then the gator Friday. Have one more gator tag in my pocket so hope to get another!
