Well heck, I'll post up first pics (sorry, these were only 4 shot groups). Put a new XLR Envy Chassis on a Remington 5R Gen2 yesterday. These are the first shots out of it using 140gr Hornady Gunner factory ammo.

I was racing the dark and know the flyers were my fault. Plan to turn the weight of the trigger down 4 oz and take my time next trip out. I use sandbag in front, v bag in rear and sling locked into left elbow for stability. Now if I can just get the ninja breathing down to calm the heartbeat a bit....
Bring your trigger back up to about 20-24oz and you will tighten your groups up. A 4oz trigger is for free recoil shooting.

Another fun one would be but take some time. Go out an shoot 5 cold bore shots all on different days and see how well your rifle, you, and your ammo can make a small group. It gives you a decent indication of what that opening morning of hunting season will be like. By luck I took my wife out one day to shoot and was letting her do most of the shooting but I had taken my 300RUM with my hunting loads out also. Cold bore at 1042 yards I put the first shoot on a 6" steal plate. My wife reaction was, WOW!! I cant believe you did that. I was shooting prone and jumped up with a big smile picked up my gun and put it back in the case. And with a pompous big grin, I looked over at her and said I'm good for the day. You can keep practicing. I think that was probably one of the luckiest shots I made to date. It was a spot that I practice at a lot and shoot rocks on the side of the hill so yes a lot of luck for a factory gun but I still was used to doing the shot but usually not quite that good. Most time the first 3 shot dance around 10 to 12 inches at this distance if I shoot for a 3 to 5 shot group. Wind seem to always be the killer. That day we had zero wind and it was supper still. Good shooting morning with temps in the upper 40's. If I wasn't the process of moving I would be up for the shoot.

Luck is a preparedness meeting opportunity. I tend to do things like this when I shot with my wife or the kids and I believe it's because I tend to concentrate a whole bunch more. Mostly so I don't make an *** of myself, however, all the shots in practice are why they get made when they absolutely have to be made. The last time that happened for me was about 10 years ago when I was teaching her sons. They were shooting about a 3" pattern at 200 yds and complained about the gun not shooting well. I center punched the cross of the bull about as perfect as could be done handed him back the rifle and said try again. Turned away so I could smile at my wife knowing I just pulled a rabbit out of my butt

Rifle: 6mm predator (6 Grendel)
AR15 performance 20" fluted barrel barrel/bolt
Radical firearms brake
Aero precision upper
RRA lower receiver
CMC 2.5 lb trigger
Luth-Ar mba-3 stock

Hornady brass
CCI 41 primer
28 gr H322
70 gr Speer TNT
3120 fps

Groups were shot laying prone on the deck using bog pod death grip as front rest with a wadded up bath towel for a rear rest. Temps were 20 degrees, light 1-3 mph breeze, cold cold breeze. 100 yards. I shot the first 5 then, adjusted zero. I blame the bad vertical on using a towel for a rear rest. I'll do another tomorrow maybe !! Thanks
