My buddy shot this at 400 yards with the first 3 shots on a ladder test, .2gr increments starting at 40.2gr of h4350 with the 143eldx in his 6.5cm McGowen barrel

Not 5 shot groups, but here are a few 3 shot groups with 2 Factory Loads and 1 Copper Creek Custom load out of my 6.5 Creedmoor hunting Rifle at 100yds.

Barrel was allowed to cool between each shot in each group since I was going for First Shot accuracy and zero for a hunting rifle.

Copper Creek Load with 127gr LRX

Norma Ammo 130gr Scir II

Winchester Deer Season XP 125gr. Good group, but way right in my rifle compared to the other loads.

Went out this morning In a bit more heat to validate my load since my New Mexico antelope hunt will begin august 15th And it will be warm. Shot these two groups at 200 yards to verify my zero. I think I am good to go.

Been working with my new 338 Sherman. Had to get the throat extended a bunch from the initial chambering (my bad, specified too little). Now it's got some breathing room and it is happy! Me too!

Per the original post, even the ugly. Top left- clean bore fouler. Three together 1,2,3, 4th to the right. 1" squares.
Older 700 sendero special 25-06, CE trigger.
Factory Federal Premium 110 AB.

Update, same rifle but after a bunch of reading on here worked up the nerve to try bedding for the first time. Still factory ammo- Hornady 110 ELD-X at 200 yards this time. I really think it's tip on technique I've picked up here more than anything. I've never shot a 5 at 200 that good before.

Thought I would play along. The wind was really variable and kicked up on me for shot 5 or I'd be looking more at what I am used to as far as group size goes. Shot off a bipod from bench.

More what I am hoping for. These are groups from a better day.

I finally quite being a slack-*** and got it did.

Hot group was my first group of the day, little dude hanging to the right was the last shot of the group and was definitely me. Cooler group was last group of the day, after the rifle sat for 5 hours. 5 rds each @ 100yds This load has a horrid SD. Rifle is a 12FV in a take off accu-stock. 1" target paster. Shooting groups i usually dial 10 up, then 10 over, then 10 down, etc until I shoot 8 groups around the box and finish back on zero. Get 9 groups for the price of one paster and work the scope a bit.
