Looking to do a switch barrel for my kids to shoot and I to shoot. Small caliber for them, large for me. Looking for a chassis that I can shorten LOP and possibly add weights for when they shoot, then lighten back up and lengthen LOP for me to hunt/shoot. Anyone have suggestions? Tons of options and I'm definitely not in the chassis loop. Don't want a cheaply made chassis. Thanks

I used a Brownells branded mdt for my kids first moose hunt a few yrs ago. It's become our most used rifle for everything. Sometimes i think I'd like a folder but i haven't thought of a good reason why i need one yet.

Not the cheapest, but I've went through a lot of stocks and rifles looking for something for my kids and I to share. Right now their favorite stock is the XLR MG 4.0. I shorten it for them and lengthen it for me. It's light enough and nodular enough to work. I have a American Rifle Company Mousingfield action in it with a carbon 6mmCM, and steel 6.5CM and 300wsm barrels.

My boys are 8 and 12 right now.

XLR is very easy to change LOP and it goes extremely short

And if you want a super quick and easy way to change weight and balance point. Get the Da Shaft weight(s) from DST Precision
