Best 22 cal. Help me decide my next build

So you know your cartridge…22-250 no reason to change that…I own vintage Sako, vintage Remington, pre-Obama Coopers and Weatherby Vanguard/Howa…all are butter smooth not "clunky".

But if you need something overpriced there's customs with Seekins, Batt , Aero etc…best bang for the buck right now is a Howa barreled action cuz chassis/stock selection is pretty good.

Here in WV you can only use 22cal cartridges for night hunting and I'm looking at having a savage 110 308win rebarreled to something for coyotes. I currently run a Ruger American Predator 22-250 in a Magpul Hunter fed with Hornady Superformance 50 grain VMax. In this rifle it's running 4009 fps, groups 1/2 moa, and flat hammers coyotes. But the action leaves something to be desired. It's rough, noisy, and just all around clunky. Still yet it's killed SOOOOO many coyotes.

I have in my safe a Savage FCP-SR 308 that shoots fantastic but I never use it so I'm goi g to build it into a better coyote rifle. The action is butter smooth, it has the precision accutrigger set at 1#, and a factory 10 round mag.

So I want to hear from you guys what's the best 22cal center fire for coyotes?

I am considering just having it rebarreled to a 22-250 since I have such great luck with it and killing coyotes. Most shots here are less than 250 yards. With 90% being less than 150.

So what your fellas opinions?
Not a 22 but I just started messing with it KAK industries makes a 17–556 I think would be great for coyotes. We'll find out.

If you like what the 22-250 does that you currently use and you don't reload keep it 22-250. If you reload 22 creedmoore. 22-250 has too much case stretch and trimming B.S. If you do load and keep it 22-250 make sure of the twist rate. 53 grain vmaxes need 1-12 to stabilize and was my favorite bullet also best bc until you reach the 69 grainers and up. I will add that I rebarreled my savage model 11 to a 22 GT from a 22 -250. It's a reloaders only cartridge but I love it. My alpha brass is on its 6th firing after annealing everytime, sizing then mandrel, there has been no case growth. I finally trimmed to just get them all equal instead of 3-4 thou differences. I mention annealing because I split a lot of 22-250 necks without annealing. Creedmoore is the easy button with 22-250AI performance from a box

Ran 22-250 since 1990 or so, 90% reloads. Switched to 22CM for the heavy bullets. Did one 22-250 AI and don't really like messing with it. 22CM is just better, due to brass availability and simplicity.
This as stated from westexhunt. Speaking of westexhunt I am currently on a west Texas mule deer hunt with my GT and 85.5 bergers

22 CM is great for heavier bullets, but it will be a long time before the pile of coyotes taken with the CM will compare with the pile the 22-250 has accumulated. I have one in Bergara B14 left hand that is absolutely lights out accurate. I'm shooting 68 grain Hornady hpbt bullets at over 3600 fps, and yotes just can't take it.

I have had a very hard time finding 22-250 brass. Usually have to buy loaded ammo and take it apart.
Your not looking very hard

With that kind of yardage you're shooting.
I sure liked my 17 center fire. Sure can't figure out your democrat law makers reasoning to limit you to 22 caliber only for night hunting. Just got a new 22 Hornet to put on my Contender.
