I'm curious on what you settled on with your 27n?

that build is something, i would be interested as well. if anyone has built one. wanting something with the .27 caliber shooting the 170 vldWas thinking Bertram runs 27 Nosler brass? The 27/300 PRC sounds interesting. I've got time to play with cartridge ideas, so glad for this one. As far as barrel life, I already said it's not a priority since it's use as a hunting rifle only will stretch round count pretty far. Also going with the 400 MOD harder stainless helps extend barrel life.

I sure wish Mcguire would make a 160gr for the 270.Running both. The Badlands 150 BD2 and the 156 Hammer for now. Would like to try the McGuire and the Apex Afterburner.
I'm working on him already! I'll give him another reminder todayI sure wish Mcguire would make a 160gr for the 270.

24"1) Cartridge? 6.8 western
2) Barrel: already on way (Bartlein--sounds good
3) Brake: leaning PK (sure)
4) Action: Defiance A!ti medium
5) Cerakote: Desert Sage
6) Jewell trigger
7) Stock is so a magnus with that long of barrel
8) I'd do a Hawkins M5 Hunter
9) Scope? Leupold Mark 5HD 3.6-18x44 w/GW reticle--sure that works
