Our annual trip to Pierre for South Dakotas resident only pheasant opener and walleye fishing on the Missouri River is in the books. Another fantastic trip with a lot of birds and hungry walleyes. Time spent in the outdoors with good friends and dogs is always to be cherished. The SDGFP does a great job managing and maintaining tons of public hunting areas. The food crops and shelter belts are looking superb. The walleye fishing as always was excellent. I loaded up some 1-1/8oz Duplex loads of TSS and Bismuth for use in my 28 gauges this year. They performed very well and killed roosters reliably. I also loaded some 7/8oz loads of straight TSS for the 12 gauge. Absolutely incredible performance for such a small load. Here are some pics from the weekend.
