Carbon Six Barrels Wait Time

I actually called last week and talked to someone who tracked down my barrel while we were on the phone. While we were talking he handed it off to the person finishing it and said it would go to be chambered next and will ship out this week. I ordered mine December 27th. I was originally told 5 months, but have been behind them a bit. They didn't answer my email or web request anymore, so I called. We'll see what happens.

Well thats kind of positive. Guess will see what happens in next month or so. Thanks for status updates
 
I sent one in for them to look at. Was having a few pressure issues. And they keep giving me the run around. Saying o well so and so isn't here to look at it. Call me back in a week. Well its been a month and would like my barrel back.
 
Update.... I received an email saying that my barrel was waiting to be crowned and finished. Should be completed in the next two weeks. The barrel was ordered on 12-28-23. Will update when (if) received.
 
I own 3 carbon six barrels I've waited 6-8 months on all of them. But they're well worth the wait.
 
Mine was supposed to ship last week, no confirmation yet. I ordered December 27th. That's ok for now, we're still trying to recover from Hurricane Helene. By the Grace of God, my neighborhood wasn't too badly damaged and only 1 house lightly damaged. Other parts of Aiken, SC received heavy damage and might be a couple of weeks or more before power is restored. Cleanup might be months. Thank God we got power back late yesterday. It could have been much worse.

Glad y'all are ok. My barrel shouldn't be too far behind yours. I'm itching to get this last piece of my shorty 6.5x47 done!
 
I finally got an email today that my barrel shipped. I called Monday and talked to Gene who transferred me to Angel. She went and found my barrel, again, which was sitting under a pile of other barrels (probably why it didn't ship out in September as promised. Angel told me she'd get it out that day, Monday, and expect a shipping email no later than Wednesday. I finished storm clean-up yesterday late and still no email. I called Angel again today, Friday, and she finally got it shipped today. I'll be honest, after all this run around and almost 10 months waiting, I don't care if it shoots 1/4 MOA, I won't order another one from Carbon6.

My couple weeks to hear back is close to ending and nothing. Give it week or so if still no word maybe email Angel. Glad hear yours shipped. Keep us updated when you get it.

You need to call Angel @ 225-755-9632 direct line. They have a bad habit of putting barrels in a pile and losing track of them. My barrel was originally promised, per email, to ship out by the end of August. I had to call 4 times since that date to get it finally shipped out. Each time it was sitting in a pile of barrels. They really have issues with their service and until it improves substantially, I'm not buying from them in the future. Just my personal experience with them, not trying to influence anyone.
