I might never use it, but I might get one for the nostalgia.I jumped the gun & bought one on Ebay. It was cheap enough.
DittoNot sure about the trimmer but I do like that movie even though TC is a jack***.
Sorry for the slight derailment.
I wondered how the hell Tom C got cast as J Reacher . Then I saw at the end he produced the movie .I didn't know anything about a new guy or a new movie. Thanks I will be looking into this!
Thanks but I bought one on Ebay for that price.Definitely a Lee zip trim.
I have one used 1 time I'll sell for $25!
I was thinking of combing the two together. Not to concerned with the construction of the Lee trim Zip. I believe I could upgrade it to a better quality tool. Perhaps better string or bearings will make it a worth while tool. And perhaps it will be a lost cause. I will see. I liked the idea of it, being powerless tool w/ minimal effort.I use a Wilson trimmer
I think it's more the alignment of the case mouth you are holding the cutter by hand and cannot be that square and steady.I was thinking of combing the two together. I will be using it on a Wilson trimmer just to turn the cutter. It will take the place of a cordless drill or turning the handle manually.I think it's more the alignment of the case mouth you are holding the cutter by hand and cannot be that square and steady.
Post it on the classified ads under reloading equipment and components (https://www.longrangehunting.com/forums/reloading-equipment-and-components.41/)Definitely a Lee zip trim.

?I never used one but.yeah it was from Lee I believe. But I don't think it was for trimming but to chamfer the I.D & O.D
of the case mouth.
The way he is using it it would never give you a straight face to bore unless there's a pilot on the tool and some way to stop cutting at a certain fixed length. But he is using a 60° chamfer tool?
Don't waste the money on one and buy a foster trimmer or similar instead.
