140 nosler match grade hpbt factory ammo
This is 12 to 15 shots in the new barrel

Shot 5 single rounds and clean each time
So 6 to 11 was zero scope and then clean again

Nice rifle. Definitely get long barrel life with pistol speeds or creedmoor speeds. I have had a pile of 6.5-284's, great cartridge.
I try 4831sc. H1000 n560 with
Nosler 142 sierra 130 gc every time I got the velocity I was looking for it open up

What are some of your loadings
And velocity

I ran 24-28 barrels from 2920-3050 with 140-147's. I ran berger 140's as the main bullet at 100 jump in 7 different rifles. My 24's ran 2920-2950 for the sweet spot. My primary powder was retumbo, but I liked H1000 as well. When I discovered RL26 I switched but moved to the PRC soon after to run short barrels. I also found H4831 to be fine but it was in the 2850 range. I would consider N565 thru 570 as options to check. I would easily expect 2850 plus in a 24 with H4350, H1000, Retumbo, and H4831.

Not to derail but my LH custom shop 6.5x284 COAL at 3.225 my new RH same cartridge COAL is 3.165-3.175 did savage change reamersAlways used retumbo R23 and 26 with 127 lrx and 143 eldx seemed to work in old LH. Lost left eye so now we ll what new RH does!!!
