I had Sam at McGowen Precision Barrels chamber it for the Hammer 80gr HHT bullets.

The 85.5gr Bergers are jumping 0.059" which it too far. I have an upcoming video where I shot 100 yards. The groups were terrible for the 85.5gr and 90gr Bergers (+3" groups).

No worries, I'm a hunter 1st steel slayer 2nd! Both of the 80gr and 68gr Hammer HHT bullets shoot subMOA.

I was thinking about buying a Tikka t3x 22 250. And have the local gunsmith. Turn it into a 22 250AI. Comes with a 1@8 twist.

Just out of curiosity… why go through the hassle of fire forming .22-250, when you could have just hit the .22 Creed easy button?

22-250 AI 40° shoulder is the Easier button regarding lack of case trimming, brass life, and throat life versus the 22 Creed hard button.
