That's 3000-4000 feet higher than most of the area's where I elk hunt. I did do some Mule deer hunting in Wyoming in area H quite a few years back. We saw lots of Bulls and it was at 10K.About 8K. Not that high.

That one is wide though they're both bruisers! That one on the right is a beauty. My back yard.
Its actually three different bucks. I call the one on the right Homer, he has been coming to my house every fall for the last five years. He almost tore his right foot off somehow and it has healed back but very crooked so he is easily identified. The one on the left that has shed the velvet is one of his kids I believe. We saw him last year as well but he has grown considerably since then. This is the first year the wide buck has shown up but opening day of Archery was last Saturday and I think he may have taken a shaft as he has not shown back up. They come in and eat our horse, goat and chicken food. ****es my wife off but I love seeing them. That one is wide though they're both bruisers!
