Len - super pics/report. Could you by chance add a map showing your route. Have always heard so much about this area and had a friend from there.

Amazing pics!! Most of us only dream of something like this but will never actually experience it. Pics are worth 1000 words! Awesome to hear you kept up with them too lol, that had to be hard work in itself

Beautiful country. That's the kind of pictures most only see on a postcard. Thanks for sharing and glad you were able to enjoy the time together. Those are the moments you'll cherish forever.

I went to Pinedale years ago.The Wind Rivers are a beautiful mountain range with a few large boulders scattered around too.The scenery is unforgettable.I can only imagine a long hiking trip like the Backus family did through the Winds.Unforgettable family memories for sure.
