So many combinations out there. Somebody tell me what to expect with 162 ELDM and RL23. I ran a pressure ladder (3 shots for each charge) and never found pressure signs. It stopped at 2904 FPS avg at 58 gr.

I didn't mean to hijack the thread. Current favorite is 143 gr HH and H4831sc.

I have more than a few favorites, will give 2 current loads. 1) 143gr Hammer Hunters, RL26, BR2's, Peterson brass. 2) 140gr BT's, IMR4831, BR2's, Peterson brass. Not max loads but both over 3200fps with .5-.75" moa consistently.

I just bought a box of 168 and 175 LRAB's for testing in two new builds, a 280AI and 7mm SAUM with 8 twist, 26" Barleins. In the 280AI trying Peterson brass this time. Chamber long throated for EOL 195 and CX160.

Curious what brass and velocity you are seeing with the IMR 7828?

Give the 195 try. Their performance is pretty convincing.
