H4350 Most Versatile Powder?

That CFE223 is quite the driver!
I've been tinkering with a 308 with 150 and 165 grain NBT and that CFE 223 will push em hard.
2900fps with 150's and 2750 with 165's in a 20" barrel!
Neither were max loads. They can be driven faster.
They were the most accurate with a bump in velo compared to the standard 308 powders.
Today I shot 165 NBT with CFE under it…3 shots at 400 yards and were 2-3" spread going 2750fps from a 20" barrel!
I'm liking it!…
A friend gave me a pound of CFE 223 to try in my 223 but that rifle didn't care for it. I was thinking about giving it a try in the 7-08

..without question the absolute best powder if you could only have one...I pretty much have cleaned my bench of ever other powder and my "mother's milk" sit on the top shelf.. always great accuracy, velocity and is fairly clean ...from 6mm/06 to .338wm and every short mag and cartridge based off the /06 casing..even my belted mags, I'll give up a 100fps for simplicity on my bench..

Which powder do you consider the most versatile?

Is it H4350??

I load 9 different cartridges with H4350. They may not be "the best load" in all of my cartridges...But, It somehow holds the edge for accuracy and consistency across a wide range of cartridges for me... although not always the best in velocity, it's usually not far off.

Although I do have a lot of different powders...That is a convenience for me in a powder stash.

What are your thoughts?????

Just curious...
H1000,it'll load everything from my 6xc-338 lapua.

I like SW 4350, sort of like H4340 - real versatile for .22-.250 up. For smaller than .22-.250 or cartridges with similar bore to capacity ratios it's SW Precision, sort of like Varget.
In the world of Hodgdon it would be H4350 & Varget. In the world of ball powders it would be CFE 223, Staball 6.5 & Staball HD.
The selection list quickly expands as many other powders are included.
$50 or more per pound makes versatility important.

LGS upped price of SW 4350 to $65/pound :(
I like SW4350,at the price point I'm out
