Any Model 70 love out there?

Anyone else a Model 70 weirdo like me? Seems we are becoming a rarity these days. I'd love to see some pics and specs of other 70's out there. I'll get the ball rolling because I want to give a big shout out to Diamond T rifles in Craigmont ID, one of the few shops that will work on Model 70's these days. They do a fantastic job, I couldn't be happier with the build I just got back from them. Rifle below is my 90's vintage stainless classic in 300 PRC with a 22" proof barrel, SRS ti two port break, and a McMillan game hunter handle. It's been lightened a bit and has a titanium Murphy Percision pic rail. It shoots 215 Bergers and 199 Hammers in the 4's all day. Let's see some more 70's.

what mag box and follower did you end up using. Have a classic stainless in 300rum and a 26" proof barrel set aside for this same build

I had these but Sold them all over the weekend.

Funny, this one started life as a 300 RUM too. Box and follower work perfectly

I have two getting fully rebuilt at LRI. 270 WIN and 7PRC

I definitely enjoy the Model 70
Currently own a 70 coyote in 223, two model 70s in 225 win, a Stealth in 223wssm and a pre 64 featherweight which rarely ever leaves the safe
Heave barrel varmint rifles, no matter what brand, are fun!

I have a classic fwt in 243 WSSM, great looking super fun to shoot little rifle.

This one was also built by Diamond T several years ago. Started life as a 25-06 and is now a 270 Sherman.

Few more pics of it. Had a stainless classic 338 win mag I traded off years ago with the boss on it. Kinda regret that one. Should've built something off of it….

Currently supplied with 6 Creed hvy barrel, 6.5-06 hvy barrel, 7STW sporter & a 270W sporter. Two shop bound: 260 varmint & 260 sporter to become a 6.5-284. I have a 280 featherweight being rebuilt and a 6mm "something" sporter in parts looking for a short action. When all are finished, I should be good for the rest of my life, right??

I have quite a few Model 70's, all Stainless and all have been modified to be switch barrels. Here's 2, the first one is highly modified, blueprinted, trigger work, HS Precision stock in 300Weatherby, 340Weatherby & 375Weatherby.
Second is an EW, blueprinted in 270Weatherby, 264WM & 338WM(factory barrel).
