Bore Tech Eliminator

While reviewing the msds sheet for bore tech eliminator i decided to look into one of the chemicals listed at a content of =< 25%
In one pic of the msds you see the chemical also known as AMPA
The other pic is the toxicity of the chemical i found on wikipedia.
If i understand this, it is as toxic as glyphosate which is the carcinogen in roundup weed killer. We are told it is non toxic. Confusing

I'm not convinced Glyphosate is a carcinogen.
Bidenobama's EPA and Too Many Attorneys, perhaps?
Since Bayer/ Monsanto isn't domestic, they likely weren't getting any side action.

I use it some. It doesn't prevent rust like they say. Other than that I think it's a good product. Vaccines are safe. Just ask the fda. For those that think gly4 is dangerous. Let me introduce you to gramoxone aka paraquat.

Propaganda circus!!! Carcinogenic is a fairly broad characterization including soft drinks, diesel, gasoline, ham. pickles and wood chips to name a few! Glyphosate is potassium salt which is way down on the list!

Solvents of most any nature would certainly qualify as carcinogenic! Perspective and proportion rule the day!

Grilled meat is also supposed to be carcinogenic. Seriously.

In California I believe they have warnings on spring water, oxygen and house plants as being the cause of cancer...

Dang! I just bought a large bottle of Bore Tech. Seriously, if I stopped or didn't use anything that was potentially hazardous to my health, I might as well live in a bubble. Attorneys are motivated by $$$$$. I am motivated by results. I don't plan to rub it on my skin or drink it.

How dare you use the correct full name for this State! Everyone knows the proper Forum-use name, in particular by those who don't live here, is "Kali". We who do call it the PRK. It was a fine State before the carpet baggers got here. Brown's first pass got us turned into the Granola State (full of fruits, nuts, and flakes) and even Arnold couldn't fix it.

Prop 65 doesn't just label those, it labels everything as a nasty, gonna kill you chemical. 65 was so obviously a boondoggle that was going to create a Bureaucratic Autocracy that would soon rival CARB that I can't believe that it got voted in. It's a sad commentary on the voters in this State. We didn't learn anything from Prop. 13, apparently.

I always wear gloves when cleaning my rifles, and try to use the harsh chemicals outdoors.

My AR is one that I am extra careful with as the gas tube brings whatever is vaporized in the barrel and tube back in your face to breathe.

Bore Tech Eliminator is an outstanding product that I'll continue to use. Shoot I bet pure well water would be classified by Kali to be a carcinogenic. Lol

I will typically clean three rifle at a time. I clean them in the basement which has the windows closed most of the time. I will run several wet patches of Eliminator down the bore and let them sit for an hour or two. Then I'll repeat the process for a second or third time, sometimes leaving them overnight, before I use the bronze brush.

There is probably more vapor from the Eliminator in that enclosed space that I ever really thought about. I hope that this stuff is as safe as I assumed. Maybe I'll just try ventilating the basement as a safeguard. Cancer is some really bad stuff. Why take chances?
