TICKS!!!!

You can order permethrin online, works well and I want something to kill them dead not just repel them.
I remember when that came on the market few decades ago. Just make sure not to spray on exposed skin.but as soon as a tick steps it feet on cloth with that on it they make a break for the exit. But never make it.

The stuff I use for the yard and around the house is a mixture of Bifen and tenguard.

For my clothes I usually get lice bedding spray, it has permethrin.
Tengard is permethrin, just a particular brand and at a concentration high enough to be restricted use. I'll mix tengard/perm-up or the concentrated Bifen with regent (fipronil) to hammer the fire ants.

Out of curiosity, why mix two pyrethroids and not two different classes that would be more effective?

Most dangerous creature in the woods is no bigger than the tip of your little finger. Everything else will, if possible, get out of your way. These things hunt you.
Bad this year in the U.P. of Michigan too! I killed a coyote a couple weeks ago that had a number on him. 2 on his face that were gorged and looked like grapes. I picked him up with a shovel and put him in the bucket of my tractor for transport to his burial site. He's now a good yote.

PA has been bad for several years now. Use a variety of natural sprays on myself and our 2 German Shepherd dogs. I got Lyme 2 years ago but caught it early and 30 days of doxycycline took care of it, no long term effects so far. Permetherin does work very well, I spray all my hunting clothes and boots with it.

Just a mix by Uncle gave me, he owns a pest exterminator business so that is what I have used.

Just want to tell everyone to take care when going into any wooded/grassy areas. Use long trousers, with wraps on the cuffs, long sleeve shirts. OR Insect repellents.
The TICKS are really BAD here in GA this year. I had a tick on my back and the treating physician gave me a bunch of antibiotics in case of contracting one of many diseases from TICKS.
We were at our shooting range a few weeks ago and before I let Cassie or Maximus run through the weeds/woods I sprayed them down with a non-pesticide spray- All Natural. Also sprayed our boots and pants legs. WONDERSIDE PEPERMENT SCENT!!!
Works very well. We sprayed the dog's coats and rubbed it in. No worry about a Pesticide on our dog's skin because it is natural. Also sprayed our legs.
Take precautions because TICKS can transmit diseases.
I have several friends that contracted "Lyme Disease" in CT where the disease originated. They had/have many years of problems.
Lyme, CT is on the coast to PLUMB Island. Maybe a government experiment gone AWRY???

Please be careful with prevention - TICKS.
Len, worse I ever seen in Michigan. Sprays, and all precautions needed. Shower immediately after getting home. Clothes left in garage and checked. Prefer immediate washing to be sure.
