What rifles are you planning to use in the 23/24 deer seaon?

300WSM 165 Nosler BT, 30-06 with 180 Nosler BT for northern deer, 6.5 PRC 143 EXLD and 30-06 again for southern deer.
the 300 WSM with 178s and the 6.5 PRC with 143s are headed west for Elk also. let the games begin.

Might even take the Weatherby 308 for a walk or 2.

I plan to hunt with my new Savage 110 ultralight in 6.5prc. I dressed it with a EGW 20moa base, Vortex rings,Swarovski Z6 5x30 with a BT turrent. I also added a Gen3 Lil bastard tunable muzzle brake. I plan on shooting Hornady 143gr ELD-X bullets @2985fps. I will also hunt deer with my Black Widow recurve, my 1860 iron frame Henry, and Dan Wesson RZ10 handgun. Happy hunting everyone!

My primary is a Sig970SHR in .270win 150gr Nosler Partitions over 51gr of H4350. Gives me just shy of 2900fps. Backup will be my 1969 Rem 700 in 30-06 pushing Nosler partitions over 47.4gr of IMR3031. My self-imposed range limit is 600yds over soybeans or creek bottoms.

LOVE your Savage. How's the accuracy?

Haven't worked on a handload yet. Factory Hornady 143gr ELD-X is 1/2 moa ,3/8" with 147gr.eldm's, and 1/4" with Nosler 140 ballistic tip. I figure it will be a bughole gun with a good reload. I'm very pleased.

My wife and will be using my CCR custom 6.5 PRC. It's a Defiance Deviant Ultra Light XM action, a 27in Proof Sendero barrel, McMillan Game Hunter carbon fiber stock, a Timney 2-stage Calvin Elite trigger, and a VX6 4-24x52 scope. It's rang up 4 Coues bucks and 18 head of African game.

Same set-up for 50 yrs., M700 ADL 30.06 165BT 57g IMR 4350 . Dropped a lot of Adirondack Mountain Big Woods whitetails. Also carry M7 in .260 Rem, on occasion.
