Due to the lack of responses to this, I'm thinking a lot of wives and girlfriends monitor what gets posted on long range hunting.

Ya, I still sneak guns in through the back of the garage even though I only paid 50 bucks for a fixer upper from the gunsmith.
If one has a good one, and treats her right, it's a non-issue. She'll buy it for you. There's the crux of the problem.
Otherwise, one can sue her in court, appearing as Defective Fools for weeks in the public eye.
Its humor. Lighten up.
I carry them in the front door and don't worry about it. I just do it when I am coming home from the shooting range. Nobody pays attention to how many I take with me.

My wife and I have had separate bank accounts for almost 20 years. We don't know or have the slightest care what each other spend or buy. That eliminated 90% of the arguments we had when we were in the first few years together. I recommend it to every couple.
