O'd bet your dealer would've swapped out a scope for you or at least helped with comms to Tangent if that's what is needed.

X2. I normally go through with EuroOptic, and I would have been all up in their rear end to send me a new scope and let them deal with the issue on a brand new scope.

They'd probably just flip around and send it back to AT and get credit on their next invoice for a pallet of TTs. And honestly I don't think I'd have to get on them because every time I've called them they've been fast and helpful, I have no doubt that they'd send me an overnight label to get it back to them, and a day later a new one would be on my porch. It's a $6k scope all-in so I wouldn't blame them for not dropping a second one until the original is back in their hands. Probably less than 72-hour turn around time, and that's after they do next-day-shipping in the first place, so all in all faster than I could deal with almost any other shop.

For some things there are a lot of benefits to having a middle-man.

Apparently the indicator ring was moving "as it should" causing the rattling. So, "no issue found".
Nobody else's 315M rattles when shaking the scope?

I tried the Zeiss V6 and found it underwhelming. The Swarovski Z6 was very similar to my Z3, which apparently is VERY good for it's price. I'm currently using a S&B Zenith which is ok, but want better.
Do I need to buy a ZCO or TT to get the optical performance I want?

Obviously this scope would need to be durable was well. Used primarily for hunting in the dark timber and large fields in the evenings and mornings.
Being into photography, I love a great image with detail and contrast. Large field of view would be great also. Does this scope exist?

The best glass I've looked through is Schmidt and Bender Exos 3-21. Better than Swarovski and Zeiss for my eyes. Very bright and crisp

Nope. No rattle whatsoever on mine.
Are you talking about the magnification ring or the diopter locking ring making a rattle. I could see the locking ring might rattle if not snugged down? Or the turret indicator ring, which may rattle if cap not snugged down properly.
Battery cap may rattle also if not snug as well, mine was a bit loose when I got it. Didn't rattle but I snugged it a bit more after checking if my battery was intact.

Would be nice, but I'm still going to put a 315M on my lightweight hunting rifle when it's done in a month or two. I don't think I've ever shot an animal with more than 7x power. Connected with a running hog at 275 with a 30-06 set on 2x with a duplex reticle. 15x will be more than enough for me.

Yesterday I was at the range. An old range friend arrived with some of his rifles to check some loads. I asked if he had heard of the Swarovski 4 1/2-28X. He indicated the rifle he was shooting. He also had another rifle laying on some sandbags on the next table. He asked if I would like to look through them. Usually when comparing good glass I have to move back and forth on the scopes to finally decide which is better. This was a no brainer instantly. The Leupold VX-6 4-24X52 was far and away the best.

He jokingly suggested I get a better scope than the March 2 1/2-25X52 on my 7RUMLN. I didn't see any difference between it and the Leupold. If I had them at my house where I could use my military eye chart at 127 yards, one would have certainly shown more detail than the other when set on the same magnification. Of course, the March would have beat for most detail because it has 1X more. Over the years I discovered with scopes costing several hundred dollars 1X can be seen on the optics chart.
