What was not pleasing with the Wby performance?

poor expansion on the two deer I shot with it. I don't have a lot of experience with it other than with the wby. 115 ballistic tips. Like I said I am sure there are other bullets in Wbys. line up that may perform better, but they did not group particularly well in my rifle.

If it ain't broke don't fix it, fast twist 257Bee is the drop dead door knocker of the 25's in my opinion. With the heavy Hammer and Barnes pills they are good for along way out there and hit hard. I've had some pretty big critters not take a step.

I have both 257 bee and 25-06 and I prefer the 25-06 less powder less recoil and all animals are just as dead.

No doubt. They certainly hasn't been my experience. I've shot whitetail from 50 yards to 450 yards with that combination and they've all been DRT. The 50 yard shot trauma was just nasty.

How strange to see this post. In fact, there seems to be a revival of the 25 cal.
