The point is if you have a higher income aka California they should be paying in more then say Wyoming . 54million people live in California that they know about whats wyoming 500k people. There not paying in more because they are doing so well. This state is broke and corrupt as ****. Thats my point. Why is it corrupt? Because liberal politicians own it.
People who make more money should be paying in more. That sounds like socialism. Why should the people in California support the people in Wyoming? Also, the 20 million people in California have 2 senators while the 500,000 people in Wyoming have 2 senators. That seems a bit lopsided.

Simple they dont. Theyre broke. Why would a state with 100 billion in surplus send out a i o u every year on taxs. And no i dont support taxing people that make more then the others but ive excepted it just way it is. I said should as thats how the law is written.
Also why would a staye keep upping its taxes if its making money

I should have said maturity and intellect to react any other way. I never said I was the smartest guy in the room nor that I have a higher than normal IQ. I work in IT and it changes so fast that I feel stupid all the time. I do have the maturity to disagree with you without insulting you while at the same time I have enough intellect to present what I consider evidence to back up why I disagree with you. It may not be correct or I may have missed something but at least I tried to educate myself to come to the conclusions that I did rather than just blaming something because it supports what I want to believe. Also, If you go back and read my posts on this thread as well as others, you will see my explanation of the current situation. Everything we are experiencing today is a direct result of 2020. If I am wrong, find me an economist that says that the pandemic had nothing to do with the current economy.
So you are saying the dozens of articles talking about california's surplus are all incorrect? Also, not sure if living there makes you an expert on California economy. I live in Tennessee and I am no expert on the Tennessee economy.

No theres no doubt theres 90 something billion sitting somewhere but there nearly 400 billion in debt why i asked if you have 100 grand in the bank but owe 500k are you not in debt?
So you would have expected the economy to just snap back to what it was in 2019 without any long term effects from shutting down a global economy for over a year?
