Yes…..I’m a Hypocrite 😁

I only asked about the Scenars….because it's what I had!

After starting this thread…..I was offered some Accubonds (I think, I've slept since then) and some Partitions. Both at good prices…..decisions- decisions! 😁 memtb
If you really want to thump a pig and not feel like your you need hair ties around your wrist just in case your man-bun lets loose, get some 155 grain Lapua Megas. Ugliest bullet around but wickedly accurate, easy to tune, and a real slobberknocker.

140 grain Speer impact over a stiff charge of H4350 is the secret to the 6.5 creedmoor killing anything that walks the earth!
That's what happened to the last Saber tooth Tiger.
Some dumb as$ with a CM loaded with Speer bullets. His buddies said,Hay dude, that was the last one. I wanted to kill it.

I owned a CZ550 in 6.5x55 and hunted with it in five states. Antelope, White tails, black bears. It killed them all without fuss or bother. The barrel went South, i replaced it with a Creedmoor because components for it were everywhere, Swead stuff was not.
I've owned three of them sense. One of my hunting buddies asked me about what gun you would choose if you could only have one. My friend Dan jumped in and said a 6.5 CM. I said no, I'd choose a 7-08. My main rifle is a CA Ridge line in 7-08. Killed the crap out of deer with the last four years. Probably about 50 of them with that rifle, another ten or so with my Grendel.
As much as I like.264 anything, I'm A 7-08 fan boy.

Thanks for the write-up and the photos!

Your photos show what I feared….that perhaps on a larger hog and a less than perfect shot, they may not give adequate penetration, due to their potentially coming apart!

I was thinking that after owning this rifle for 10+ years…..that we might actually take it out of the house and try to justify owning it!

Though, it was pretty accurate and fun to punch paper in the backyard! memtb
I wouldn't let the pictures of these bullets pieces dissuade you from testing them on a hog. I'd be optimistic that they would kill them pretty good. I say go for it and then report back to us how they do. Before using them myself I read multiple positive reviews from several people about their success with this bullet on a multitude of various game.
