Obviously it's not needed around here. People drive from states around to buy our apples, cherrys and peaches, but not for our hunting.

You're welcome! I didn't have a clue what was going on until the second year I went to WY. We just got lucky the first year. I'm from Alabama so I kind of know what you are talking about. I don't think we have quite the situation y'all do in Virginia, but our system is probably ran similarly.

I live on the VA/NC line, and for a few years they need to just open firearm season instead of archery. Not that many archers around here. Deer vs car is getting very bad, and gardens are getting hit hard. I really think we could benefit by extending general firearm seasons.

I got 3 Antelope tags - Buck in 77 and 2 does in 83. I've hunted does over there for years and finally had enough points for a good buck. I am super excited and already setting aside $$ for a mount.

Here in Virginia we are overrun with deer. But thanks to meth heads with spot lights, no nice bucks ever survive long enough to spread their Gene's.

I drew my first choice area 165. had 6 points. drew 2 lope doe and 1 doe deer tag also. Last year had a Reg. X tag and 3 doe whitetail tags. Filled all on friends property. shot a decent muley buck. year before didn't draw a buck tag so got 3 doe lope tags and 4 whitetail doe tags. filled all lope tags and 2 whitetail doe. could of shot the last 2 WT does also. They were laying in the snow at 152 yds. from me while gutting doe. I had enough meat and still had 500 yds. back to truck with deer. I had 3 points for lope buck but the area I wanted didn't coincide with my 165 tag. 4 pts. next year. good luck to all that drew and those who didn't I hope you draw a good tag next year.

No luck on the elk or deer this year. Point creep got me on the elk, a long shot for deer. My buddies lack of points hurt.

I did not get my non resident antelope tag is there any way to get another chance or a shot on another draw of some sort.

You can give the leftover draw a try. Carefull though the tags are leftover for a reason

The leftover buck antelope icenses will be on private land on east side of state. There will be doe tags on public land on central and West side of state . Draw period is June 24 to 28. Results July 11. Go online and check it out.

Just checked leftover antelope . No buck tags leftover in central or west areas. Hardly any doe tags in those areas also.
