Anybody have any advice on which area would be best for non resident hunt on public land.
Want to pick up some doe-fawn permits for the meat along the NE boarder.
Any advice on the public hunting would be helpful

Many ranchers will allow doe hunting for free, especially after the first week of the season. Start making some calls to the G&F Offices and C of C Offices in several of the big towns out there and see if you can get some names and numbers to call.
