Wy antelope

Yep, he's on the right track and if he goes with antelope first and has the deer tag just in case you never know what will happen. As soon as I say he won't see a deer he'll come back with photos of the biggest 4x4 taken in Wyoming this Fall, LOL!

For the OP regarding accessing the Red Hills area: You can reach the area two ways and they are both off of highway 59, which is the west boundary of 27 coming down from Wright. Make sure you have plenty of supplies because there is nothing around out there as far as water, gas, or food without going back there! The best road to go into the unit is 37 at Verse on your map (N 43 25' 18" on your GPS) and take that east and it goes northeast up past Antelope Mine and the reservoir and swings on east just south of Rochelle Hills. If you take any of the access roads that are open going south, the Red Hills area is several miles south and covers a big area. Camping is now restricted throughout the Grasslands and you have to stay real close to the roads or they will ticket you. The other way to get into the Red Hills area is further south on 59 a few miles to what shows as Robertson Flat on your map (N 43 23' 52") and take 34 east and there are all kinds of roads that go all over to the east and south off of it. It's not your typical antelope country, but they are there and that whole area is probably also your best bet for deer because it is rougher country and not as many people hunt it.
