I'm not trying to discourage you, but of the handful of guys I know, 8 proof barrels sent in for problems, 2 are my own. I dropped em off 15 daya ago, and their warranty guy is so busy they haven't had a chance to look at em. I'd STRONGLY suggest looking elsewhere. If you can find a barrel from proof 18 months or older vintage, very likely it'll be good. But the stuff they've peen putting into circulation lately has been really spotty. Take this with a grain of salt, I'm not trying to bash proof, I have 6 their barrels and all have been great cept my last two(less Than 1 year ago production) and they lit shop is 8 miles from my house. I'd use em in a heartbeat due to local business, but sadly I won't touch one until they can reign in their qc issues.
