In light of the recent announcements of removing wolves from protected status...these are disturbing photos.
Jeff, I too have arrived at the SSS train of thought. Sad fact is, it ain't gonna help. It's way too late. It took over 90 years of using every imaginable form of killing them to rid the country the first time. And it was LEGAL. It is becoming obvious the re-introducton may have been a mistake, or maybe the . Do you think the government will ever admit that? I bet not. Even after the last elk is gone. mtmuley

One killed on the highway at Tum Tum was officially declared wolf, others about but this is one all have decided to agree on.i was woundering if anyone has seen or heard of wolves in WA? are the wolves in MTand ID the canada black wolves?
So called "sport reflex killing" is common, well recorded, well documented with this transplanted wolf in all the areas they occupy. You guys should not assume that the wolves killed it for the hell of it. How do you know that the wolves were not scared off by the loggers. They are very stealthy animals and the loggers may not have known how close they actually were to them. The wolves deserve your respect not your condemnation.
