Winchester model 70 chambered in.300 weatherby

I'm probably going to have a magna- Brake
Put on this rifle

I don't think I ever seen a Magna Brake.

This is their Magna-Brake it works very well
It threads on, and it can be removed and swapped out with a suppressor
They also furnish a knurled thread protector
If you don't wish to use anything

I have a model 70 chambered in .300 Weatherby Magnum the serial number tells me it's from around 1986
Great looking rifle smooth action I'm thinking about getting a magna brake installed from magna port international I live in the area where they are,I want to shoot this rifle more but my old skinny body won't take the kick to well for much longer
Were there many of these chambered in .300 weatherby magnum? And how long did they make them, just trying to get some background

Went to a gun show Saturday looking to sell my Winchester Model 70 chambered in .300 Weatherby magnum
I have been looking for a Ithaca Model 37
12 gauge shotgun
And I was only there for five minutes
And lo and behold there was a guy selling one in pristine condition
We struck a deal and he ended up with the Winchester and I ended up with the Model 37
He said that he'd probably sell it to a young guy
Since us old codgers don't like the kick of that old mule anymore
That Ithaca is on sweet gun
