Win 70 & Barnes 130 TSX & 150 TTSX

Update. Played with the Barnes 130gr more today. Went back with WIn 748 as shown in the Barnes manual. Barnes showed 60.5grs as max load with the 130gr TSX bullet. Worked up slowly to their max load, 60.5gr. The fired brass showed no sign of any type of over pressure. Accuracy wasn't that great until I started seating the bullet deeper. Got down to an OAL of 3.178, with three shot groups around 3/4". To my surprise, chrono showed 3285fps. Amazing. Pictures show the overall loaded length ( 3.178" ) . Picture also of the chrono reading. Our property is heavily forested, so had to cut down trees to git my 100yd range. Look closely & you will see the target, way down there. A 100yd shot would indeed be a long shot here. Most all our deer & elk are shot between 30 & 50 yds.

I agree! Great load for those distances. Hit game like a lightning bolt!
