Who made the early 2000’s stainless barrels on the AR10?

Might be a Lothar, then again might be Wilson. I have 2 of them. Armalite spec'd barrels, and various suppliers stepped up to the plate. Either way, most likely a button rifled barrel that shoots and cleans up well.

Which of the 3 or 4 carbon barrel manufacturers makes the best barrel. I am wanting to build a 25 Creedmoor, 22" barrel and a rifle +2 gas system with a good adjustable gas block and a short piston action.

try a Kreiger 5R they are really great barrels!

Mine is a Lothar. Shoots great.

Bartlein or Kreiger would be my choice.
