Which FL Bushing Die

Me either, it only
Sac bushings do the necks and shoulder. Others just do the neck. I mostly use Redding Match dies. If you are necking down for smaller bullet diameters then they really shine cause it gets rid of the donut problem.

Not really sure how your getting more runout after running the mandrel through it. I've never experienced that.
The only thing I can see is causing it would be the mandrel itself, I have mandrels for the 7 PRC, Rem Mag and 28 Nosler that do not cause any runout. I was hoping to find a FL Bushing die that would do everything at once instead of the added steps I am doing.

SAC has two types of bushings. One is just neck and the other is neck/shoulder. The former is what I use. I think the latter is for the SAC modular die system.

Nobody has any experience with L.E. Wilson FL Bushing dies? It looks like majority are using Redding.
I have a number of Wilson dies. Better than Redding. I had a few issues with redding, 1. neck runout due to bushing holes not centered. 2 bushing size not what was stamped on it. I also had a non bushing redding sizer induce .010 neck runout. Had good results with RCBS, Wilson, Whidden, and SAC bushings. No experience with Forster bushing dies as their bushings are different than the others

The best I have used are Forster, Whidden and Redding. The Whidden/Redding dies will be all over if you run a loose bushing. I like Forster with no bushing.

The bushing dies seem to get me 0.002" TIR. The Forster dies get about 0.0002" TIR better.

So, I use the Forster Bench Rest FL Sizer. My next step is to figure out how much to hone it out…
For Forster FL sizer honing, measure the loaded outside case mouth minus 0.004".

Remove the sizing stem and toss it. Use a sizing mandrel 0.002" smaller than bullet diameter. 21st Century turning arbors (sizing mandrels) work great and are melonited.

This gives you enough neck tension for a field gun with the best runout on unturned brass.

I have been looking at the SAC Modular die with a specific bushing, it sounds great, except for the price. I own there barrel vise and wrench, they are great products. I guess, if you buy the 6.5 PRC or 7 PRC, you can use the neck/Shoulder bushing for a wildcat off each case, just purchase the bushings. Anyone have experience using the modular die with the neck/shoulder bushing?
