I shoot .308 w 155 Lapua Scenars and 155 Berger Hybrids w about 47gr of Varget.

2900fps in the 24" bbl
2830fps in the 20" bbl

Drop and drift as good as the 6.5CM, before there was a 6.5CM.

I have an 8 pound jug of Varget that I'd like to use. I would either build a gun or buy factory but I need help on what cartridge best suits Varget other than the .308 win. The gun would be mainly used for paper and steel out to 1000 yards.
