Which 6.5 Caliber

The Sherman shortmag are unique if that is what your into, as well as very efficient, and will push 140's over 3300 fps if you want. You just need a mag bolt face.

Rich has an SST variant of his Sherman Shortmag that is designed for PRS competition. It is handily outdoing the SAUM 4S, from a short action, with less powder. It's doing very well with RL-26. It's worth a look.

The SST may well be what you want! It is considerably shorter than even the SS (coal). Everything I have loaded so far is under 2.8". It will reach 3200' with a 140 and 3150+ with a 147 ELDM. The brass will last double digit numbers easily at a couple grains under max. The 30 degree shoulder will work in most magazines and reamer, dies and brass are available. Here is a comparison of the SS and SST. SST on left with 140 Berger Hybrid and SS with 143 ELDX

Thanks Guys for the info ,,, I had to do some swapping up as I really didn't want to wait 4 months on dies to be built at this time.

So I ended up going with just a 6.5 x 47 Lupua ( something I don't already have) as I can find any parts I want all over, I am building this one as a Switch Lug system so I will be getting other barrels added. I will be going with 6mm Creedmoor and 7 SAUM and then either the Addiction or maybe the Sherman.

Thanks again guys
