Those black maned stables are beautiful critters....
the nyala has awesome colors and is huge.....
But that waterbuck is a superb critter...and that one is gigantic....

Tough call for me between Kudu and Sable Both beautiful, and a challenging hunt! It's been a few decades since I've been to the Dark Continent, but I recall these hunts like it was yesterday. Apologies for the crummy old pics.

Thanks! Perhaps one day I will get back to Africa. The Kudu was taken in the 80's in the Okavango Delta in Botswana. The Sable was taken on a return hunt some years years later in the Chobe region of Botswana.
