Caveat: I'm going to start lower, BUT does a 26" create more pressure or require less pressure?
Less powder - sorry watchin the TitansCaveat: I'm going to start lower, BUT does a 26" create more pressure or require less pressure?
A longer barrel won't build more pressure because it's longer but it will gain more velocity than if it was shorter. A longer barrel will maintain pressure ( but not necessarily more pressure) for a longer duration than a shorter barrel just because the bullet is in the barrel for a longer period of time than in a shorter barrel. Different powders will dictate how much more velocity you will get with a longer barrel.Caveat: I'm going to start lower, BUT does a 26" create more pressure or require less powder
Be curious to hear everyone's barrel length as well?

No as I ran my string to find my nodes in ADG brass, but if switching brass I would recommend starting at least 2grs lower or just run a string with the new brassDid you have to lighten your load because of the thickness of the ADG brass? I've got Hornady brass now with ADG on the way.

MRP 52.6 gr pushing VLD-X 143 gr bullets at 2839 fps, gives me SD of 4.2 and ES of 9 for 10 rounds. You might be surprised what vitivouri n165 might do burn rate is close to r23
Mind sharing your load info for n165 ? I am going to be shooting 124 gr. hammer hunters. You might be surprised what vitivouri n165 might do burn rate is close to r23
