Shot with what? You boys don't have any guns left to shoot anyone with. Biden is doing everything he can to disarm legal law-abiding citizens here in the USA. From pre-K to college graduation, our kids are being indoctrinated to believe that guns are bad, racism is the norm, and communism is the best thing since spring break in Florida. Oh well, we will all be Chinses subjects before long. Let's see what these kids think of that once it is too late to go back.

I love my Mark V 270 Weatherby mag. Loaded with Win 140 gr Fail Safe bullets @ 3300 fps, it's my go to gun for deer, antelope and sheep. I have no qualms about using it for bear (black variety of even a griz if necessary). My main squeeze for griz or brownie is my Mark V 340 Weatherby mag, launching 250 gr Nosler Partitions at 3050 fps. Then again, my Weatherby Mark V 375 H&H sends 300 gr Shock Hammers @ 2670 fps and it needs love too, especially for the big browns. To many choices and not enough hunts. JM

This is the results of a 400gr Speer JSP from a 45-70 hitting the shoulder of a black bear. You can see the impact hole inside of the exit wound.




If the border ever opens again I think I'll use my T/C Encore with 20bbl in 500 S&W. It's a rather impressive gun at short range and produces velocities 200-300 ft/sec faster than a 10" S&W handgun.

300 PRC with 212 ELD-X. Spot and shoot mountain to mountain. No bait allowed in WA state. Fair chase only. With a spring tag I have the opportunity to harvest 3 this year.

What unit did you draw for spring bear?
Pretty sure you only get 2 tags in WA. Spring is a permit to use 1 tag in the spring not another tag.
I could be wrong though.
I had 49 north last year and killed a whopper. 19 3/16 green score.
