I agree with our Moderators who deleted the AMMO to Ukraine thread. One of the posts violated clear LRH rules against racist name calling.
I have no problem discussing politics as it relates to the arms industry.
But we can't allow racial slurs.

A lot of opinions about this site is for this or that, bottom line is you can not separate politics and ammo or guns especially at this point in time .
Since we don't have any say in whats a banning offense ,
Why don't they make a category for it, call it (all politics )

Then as others have stated ,don't click on it if you don't want to hear it.

And when someone makes a mistake saying something
in the wrong forum ,just move it over to ,all politics

Put my 30" Shilen bull barrel with muzzle brake 338 EDGE on for some range time. Shooting 300g SMKs with 90g of H1000 giving 2750fps and a few test rounds with 104g of US 869 giving 2885fps with no signs of pressure. Accuracy: with H1000 dialed in the correction for 400yds and hit a 10" plate 12 o'clock at 1/2" from center. Only shot once because the target darn near fell down. Will load more US869 and move it up until I see pressure. I expect it will approach 3000fps which is SMOKIN! on a 300g bullet. Was 30years Navy and have flown into Kiev in a C-12 to pick up a HUGE satellite cell phone and hauled it over to Tbilisi, Georgia. There was a conflict in Georgia and I had to push hard to get a bag of jet fuel so I could go home to Athens. Glad I am not in the area now.

You know, you're right, I also posted a fairly long comment in a thread a couple of days ago on why stuff was going the way it was going, oil shortage, etc., etc. and now I can't find my post either.

Probably because Len would have to hire 3 people to make sure the politics category didn't go to crap as we all know it would. Keep politics away from here unless it's about hunting or guns. The rule is pretty clear. It's his house and we are all guests!

I always find it funny that people complain about certain post, even on this thread. If you don't want to read about politics, then don't read the thread, don't participate, but unfortunately we are always under attack because most of us only hunt with guns. Guns are evil for many, but we know more...

This site is better than LRO, you are not allowed to disagree with ???? And ???? Who I'll leave out. So again don't like the thread ignore it. I do it all day long on here.

You stated ( unless it's about hunting or guns ) and pretty sure lots of people agree with that, the problem is you have moderators, deciding where to draw the line and it's not always clear.

When I started the ammo to Ukraine thread I was just relaying the email I had received from gunbroker. I sure never meant to cause any harm to anyone. They told me they had deleted it because it was political . I sure hope No one quits...you guys are like family to me

If there is an issue, we would appreciate an explanation so no other member violates any rule.

The thread discussing ammo donations to the Ukraine was entirely remove. LRH Admin left no explanation why. Up the the point I had read, there was no mention of promoting violence, but there was speculation whether any organization could get ammo into the Ukraine.
Maybe it was just too sensitive an issue.
