Editing post, what am i missing?

Is this Edit timeout applied across the board to All post? Seems to be not just to classifieds. I'm unable to edit my post 1day after posting? Not seeing the reasoning? Was kinda convenient to be able to edit, rather than add additional post.

Yes I believe on regular posts you only have 24 hours now to edit them.
