Ive used pack frames, alum. from garage sales like REI pull pack store with parachute cord,used them for30 years. They are 10-20 bucks at garage sale. When younger I bone sawed full 1/4 had rears that ran 100 + now I do the alaskan type 1/4 at ball joint, still run 65-85 depend on bull. I run a Nimrod pack with meat duffle and tack load on way out, I also have the from that goes with for next go rounds. Prefer my decker on a horse tho
