Yup it really depends on how you want to use it. An AR is a general purpose truck gun with duty ties for me (Army). So i still use a old GI issue sling. It works for a hasty sling and carrying in several different situations. For getting the most accuracy I like slings with keepers to sling up tight. For close in bunny thumping I might choose a one point. It all depends on what you want it for.

I mostly use 2 point mil spec web slings but I don't mind a single point for slow game stocking.

Even if it is an old thread, people seem interested. As mentioned above the Magpul 3. It runs single point, and if you need to do hands on things switch to 2 point in a second and flip to the back.

I use these on my 10's but too much on a 15 IMHO. Really like the armageddon gear bungee'd style carbine sling for 15s.
