Money well spent is in the area of rings & bases.

I have pic rails from Leupy (MK4) & Badger Ord. Also use a 20moa NightForce direct mount (rings & bases one piece).

I still have a couple set of Burris XTR's from my frugal days but my favorites to at this moment are ARC rings (American Rifle Company).

I've got a couple Seekins Aluminum bases and like them. I have recently been buying the Leupold tactical bases with their aluminum rings because I get a significant military discount on Leupold tactical products. They are just as solid as anything else I've used.

I've been using Ken Farrell rings and pic rails for years. Their product info says the goal is tolerances of .001 or less. I epoxy bed the rail. Been very happy with their products.
