What rifles are you planning to use in the 23/24 deer seaon?

Yep 28" hart barrel with 90gr absolute over 4350 if memory serves me on the powder. This one always had some speed and the absolute hammers really make good speed.
H4350 was ALMOST as good as rl17 in my 257 with 75s. It did behave as if it were a bit slower burning, def not surprised it was the powder of choice for 90s out of a longer pipe.

H380 and H4831 both have perfectly acceptable results. H380 a bit faster than ideal, pressured out before reaching the same velocity. H4831 a bit slower than ideal.

Nice collection. I'm after a rem 700 bdl in 243 that looks like the one you gifted your father. One day I'll find it. Just hope I'm in a position to buy it when I do.

Got this once in a lifetime Oregon Blacktail buck this morning with my henry 357 mag with Buffalo bore ammo. 70y shot and went 30 yards.

Calling for rain on my first rifle hunt on Friday. It's 83 degrees and windy today. Should cool off though. Rain = 308win for me. I was shocked to see a buck chasing a doe in the wood line behind the house 30 minutes ago. I guess the hot weather doesn't completely shut down their rut.
