Ya'll will freak at what I keep ammo in when I go shooting at a range. Tacticool? No! I keep ammo in a small softsided, zippered cooler from Academy sports. Made to hold 12 cans of beverage I think. It gets hot down here. Keep all my junk in a Midway bag.

You guys are fancy! I use an old cardboard box that holds a few of these MTM ammo boxes https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00162QGRM/?tag=lrhmag19-20 and throw some ear pro, boresnakes, leatherman and whatever else on the pile.
Dang it....now I need a range bag....

I leave the cardboard box full of stuff in the car. Have to keep your image you know.

I have too much gear for a bag. I bought a folding cart so I can put all my stuff into it and wheel it from my car to the bench. Means I don't have to leave my gear alone at the bench while making multiple trips to the car.

I have used an eberlestock phantom for a decade or more. I leave it packed. If I go to the range or to a match I have want I need. I tried the G4 Operator, but I didn't like it, it wasn't as sturdy. When I got my phantom, they didn't have the Gunslinger 2. I would prefer that size, but I wanted the front load. If I was buying now, I'd get a GII.

I use two L.L. Bean canvas totes. One for the rest and bags, the other for targets, stapler, notebook, etc. -Ed

Lot of suggestions, I look at range bags like reloading benches, my first bench was a dud, so was my first range bag. Ease into one, don't overspend. lol
