What is your Favorite Long Range Scope and Why?

My favorite LR hunting scope: March 2.5x25x52 SFP, MP3(2MOA)Reticle.
-Superb glass that is "unique" in its ability to filter low sun glare
-Very fast, and certain parallax/focus control.
-Low profile turrets that track precisely, 120MOA range, very positive feel, and excellent visibility.
-Clean, nicely weighted reticle/ 2MOA@20x, 4MOA@10X
-Compact size and light weight: 13.3" length, 23.5 ounce weight

Hi Greyfox, I like the sound of your scope, where did you buy it I can not find their website?

Thanks, how easy is it to operate the turret system, is it as simple as the Huskemaw?

Nice Muley how did he score?

The difference between the Huskemaw turrets and the March is that the March turrets are much lower profile, not leaving a lot of room for layered scales. If you preferred using a yardage scale like the zhuskemaw uses, "Turret Tapes" could produce a custom tape that would fit the March turret for under $25. I have used these on several scopes(including the Huskemaw). They work superbly.

Thanks, he was shot in Alberta about a dozen years ago. He scored 193/typical. He was a brute!!! How about that very nice whitey in your avatar?

Come to think of it I recognize that picture from Alberta Outdoorsman I believe. The whitetail I posted in my avatar is also from Alberta, he scored 203 B&C Typical. Just cant beat deer hunting in Alberta!

Thanks for the information on the scope I will check it out :)

My progression has been Nikon Monarch to Leupold to IOR to Burris XTR 2 to Vortex Razor gen 1 to Nightforce ATACR gen 2. At this point I love the NF.

A lot of people I know love Nightforce that's for sure!

When I built my long range rifle I selected the Huskemaw over the Nightforce, if the Nightforce was lighter than the Huskemaw then I would have selected it over the Huskemaw.

Lightweight = 2.5-25x52 March Only scope with the feature I want in this weight class, tests well.
Heavyweight = Swaro X5 5-25 Everything I want feature wise, tests well, and glass is excellent.

I've never looked through a tangent theta or march. Recently examined the new mark 5 and was super impressed. My buddy who has two atacrs liked it as well or better as his nfs because of the lighter weight. The TT or March still better?

Fortunate enough to be able to ask the where, what, why's regarding what long range shooting means?
Long Range Varmints 5-25x ATACR
Long Range Game 4-16x F1 ATACR

Something I'm going to carry, the Leupold's Mark 4's, and VX-6's work well.

Don't get me started. I am a high end glass addict.
