What is your $ bullet limit?

My father told me this back years ago . They won't ever be able to take your guns because of the second amendment. Mark my words they are going to make it so expensive that the average person won't be able to practice and shoot regularly so your guns will become nothing more than boat oars

$.50 or less for 7mm even less for .22 I'm killing WT's @ 500yds or less + load development for fun. If I thought I could shoot 1,000 yds + and/or was wrapping up thou$ands in an out of state hunt a few $ would be fine. Hunt of a lifetime? Like Sheep Africa, or such? $10.00 maybe more.

"They" have been doing so successfully in states with red flag laws where anyone can say you are a danger providing zero supporting evidence.

Fortunately the federal courts see to believe now is the time to put a lot of this nonsense to bed but states like CA are flagrantly spitting in the face of even the SCOTUS with respect to gun control so it's a battle that will be ongoing as long as any of us are around.

"They" however are not fixing the market, market conditions are.

I thought we'd be the recipients of the, "Peace Dividend" with the end of major operations in Iraq and Afghanistan but apparently the Military is still trying to replace expended ammo and ordnance from both of those wars while at the same time gearing up for a new battle rifle in a new caliber round at the same time we're seeing the first major war in Europe since WWII burning up billions of rounds.

The global supply of components is heavily strained so it's going to be at least another year before we see any serious relief.

Well I guess you could say the ammunition and reloading components have brought the anti's dream to fruition.....a truly amazing turn of events..this coming from a lifelong DEMOCRATIC GUN LOVER !! See there are lefties who do the same things as you...
Well Frank that makes two of us! I didn't say I was Republican or Democrat. Next time don't just assume something about someone you don't know. I've been a registered democrat all my life. Can't say I vote that way in anything other than local though.
I vote for the person best suited for the job.
Although I have been entertaining the idea of changing to Republican like so many others I know have told me they've already done.
Have a great day

Your party absolutely is whether you agree with it or not.

Berger OTM 338, 300gr. Back post Sandy Hook, I bought a few boxes at $1/projectile. Shot them all. Compared to what a 338LM loaded cartridge cost back then, I was saving a boatload of money.

Frank the sad truth in my opinion is you see very few Republicans promoting gun control but a lot if not most democrats promoting it. The ATF will go out of their way to go to a farmers, small business or some rural area law abiding person and say, hey this or that is wrong need your stuff. On the other hand we have 8th grader's graduating in Chicago making video's and putting them on Tiktok with their Glock 9s and illegal buttons. Flashing them for the whole world. You wont see that on MSNBC, CNN or most others and you definitely will not see the ATF roll up on the corner in Chicago after tracing a video and matching suspects. Now why is that?
On a better note and to be honest. This isn't the place for me or anyone else to really be talking "Politics". I apologize to all for this but after the conversation started i felt i should finish my commenting on this thread with that statement. Again apologies to all.

We have been at the manufacturing for a short 8 years. Cost of raw material has risen about 50%. Much of that is the cost of having it delivered. Cost of material is pretty inconsequential when it comes down to the final price of the product. The costs of doing business are by far more influential to final product price. The price of equipment, insurance, facility, facility maintenance, electricity to keep the lights on. How bout the cost of labor? Not sure what you all think an entry level highschool drop out costs, if you can find one? I'll give a clue, you can't hire for less than $20/hr. At $20/hr there is no way that worker can afford to rent an apartment and get themselves to work. Since we can't find employees that would do the menial labor at a rate doesn't increase the overhead too much, we are forced to look at pieces of equipment that cost as much as my home is worth. I can continue to go on, but I think you all get it.

It sounds like the answer to keep prices where many of you think it should be, would be to move manufacturing to China, where most of the things I listed don't exist.
