You can drill a vent hole and save on buying a new die set.
Buy once cry once. AMP!I am not setup for it but I want to get to that point. Maybe this should be a different thread but what would you guys buy if you were getting started into annealing?
Unless you are experienced soldering and brazing with a torch I would recommend a machine vs the drill and socket torch method, too many variables and you need a good chrono(LR or MS) to see if you are doing more good than bad on your ES. If you want to send them to me I will AMP anneal them.I am not setup for it but I want to get to that point. You are killing me!! Lol. I am not one to go cheap on stuff if I know it's worth it. I've been looking at the Amp and am really close to getting myself a Christmas present. Do you have any recommendations for the "best" place to purchase one?Buy once cry once. AMP!
BUT it is very expensive for just reloading a small amount for Hunting.
We got our's directly from Alex Findlay - President of AMP. He also gave a Military & LE Discount. You are killing me!! Lol. I am not one to go cheap on stuff if I know it's worth it. Reloading is expensive. Shooting is expensive. Hunting is expensive.Dang, didn't realize they were that expensive but I know they are the best from reading and research. Is there another option for a "beginner" or just bite the bullet and be done with it?
A good scale like A&D 120fxi may be of more worth to you, and a good chrono before you go down the annealing hole.Dang, didn't realize they were that expensive but I know they are the best from reading and research.
