For me longrange under hunting conditions starts at 300 meters. Wouldn't shoot further than 400 m on game.

it depends,
off hand anything over 100 yards
light gun with bipod anything over 300 yards
Heavy gun with my long range set up over 1000 yards.

Because of my bad eyes any distance that requires optics to me is long range. That means 200 plus yards/meters.....
